Making sure that people are safe - on our streets and in our communities - is vitally important. We have already delivered record numbers of police officers on the street in Hertfordshire and crime is down since 2019. But working with local police and our communities I want to go further, to make our community even safer. That includes working to tackle problems of road safety and speeding, the rural crime that too often blights our beautiful villages and countryside, anti-social behaviour and more.
