I have been pushing North Herts Council’s Labour and Lib Dem Administration to review and update their Local Plan for development. After I wrote to the Secretary of State in October to highlight that the Council were set to miss their own deadline to review the plan by the end of 2023, I was very pleased this week to hear that the Department is taking action, with LUHC officials set to meet with Council officers to as soon as possible to establish the timeline for the review of the plan and to emphasise the need for the review to be completed in line with the adopted plan. I will continue to push the Council for an urgent review of the plan.
