I remain hugely concerned about plans by Labour and the Lib Dems at North Herts Council to cut waste services - with plans including the removal of vast numbers of litter bins and leaving fly-tipping uncollected for longer - that could mean more litter and waste on our streets and in our countryside. The Council’s Deputy Leader admitted that the new service “might not meet [residents’] wants” and I will be closely monitoring updates.
