The North Herts Local Plan was adopted with policies that required the Council to begin a review of it before the end of this year. This is vitally important, to ensure that the policies that govern local development are kept up to date. I have been made aware that the Labour/Liberal Democrat Council do not intend to even make a decision on whether to commit to a review this year and this week I have raised this potential breach of key Local Plan policies with the Secretary of State.
