Improving local broadband is so important - and something I have been focussed on over the past few years. During this Parliament, I have made a number of representations on the need to do more to facilitate the roll-out of better broadband in rural areas and this week I am delighted to have been informed this week that a new contract has been awarded to deliver better broadband to rural communities in our constituency who would not otherwise have been included in commercial build plans. I’ll keep working on this.
