Grassroots sport is vitally important for people of all ages in Hitchin, Harpenden and the villages. I recently visited Hitchin Town F.C. and met with officials from Pitching In to discuss how they are working to help clubs to recruit more volunteers. This week I met again with Pitching In for a follow up meeting to discuss this further and look at how we can continue to support grassroots sport in our constituency.
