Hitchin Member of Parliament Bim Afolami MP walked Hitchin’s Snowman Trail on Thursday as the town gears up for Christmas. The trail around Hitchin Town Centre contains twelve snowman sculptures, with designs inspired by the song “The 12 Days of Christmas”.
The trail has been put on by Cala Homes, Hitchin BID and North Hertfordshire Council and runs until the 20th January 2023. There are a map, activity book and trail completion certificate available online at https://www.cala.co.uk/snowman-trail-hitchin-2022/.
Bim Afolami MP said,
“Over the last few months, it has been fantastic to see our communities coming together to get into the festive spirit in Hitchin, Harpenden and the villages. I loved following the Walking with the Snowman sculpture trail all around Hitchin, with Danny Pearson from North Herts Council. The trail is a great thing to do with the kids if you’re out in Hitchin doing last minute Christmas shopping!”
