Local businesses have told me about the challenges that they are facing with ongoing international energy price shocks continuing to impact us in Hitchin & Harpenden. This week I convened a meeting between a number of local businesses and John Glen MP, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, to discuss energy prices and how the Government can support businesses. I will continue to use my position in Parliament to champion our local businesses and ensure that Ministers give them the support they need.
