Energy security is now a vital and pressing issue for constituents in Hitchin & Harpenden and across the world. As Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Renewable and Sustainable Energy and a member of the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Select Committee, I spoke at JP Morgan's Global Energy Conference on the need for closer co-operation between government and industry and between the UK and its allies on critical minerals and the net zero supply chain - working to cut volatile state actors from our energy supply chain.
