This weekend I visited Hitchin Town FC and gave them an extra pair of hands stewarding their Saturday match day against Hednesford FC. Volunteers play a huge role in supporting clubs like Hitchin Town who rely on community support to host brilliant match days. They are currently using the Pitching In Volunteer Hub to recruit more volunteers to support them on match days with roles like car park management and stewarding.
