Over the course of this Parliament I have been planting hundreds of trees across Hitchin, Harpenden and the villages, as part of my wider ambitions to increase the number of trees in our constituency. To assess where we are in improving tree coverage, I have asked the Government to supply information on the number of trees planted in our area and I will use this data to build on our efforts.
