I met with the Secretary of State for Education alongside colleagues from the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Africa to discuss the APPG's Education Inquiry Report. This is an important cross-party piece of work designed to promote better understanding of Africa in our education system - so it is studied in its own right as a thriving continent, with growing economies, with deep links with the UK, but also with its own fascinating history that is much richer than the history of colonialism alone.
