Today new rules came into effect on self-isolation as part of the Government’s Covid-19 roadmap. These changes mean that close contacts will no longer have to self-isolate if they are fully vaccinated or under 18 years of age. There are also exemptions for those who are or have taken part in an approved clinical trial of a Covid-19 vaccine and those who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons.
It is advised that close contacts still get a PCR test and anyone displaying symptoms of Covid should self-isolate and get a PCR test. You can find further information here.
