It is fantastic news that all adults in England can now apply to get the COVID-19 vaccine. If you are aged 18 and over and have not yet booked your appointment, you can do so at https://www.nhs.uk/.../coron.../book-coronavirus-vaccination.
Vaccines are the best way out of this pandemic and provide strong protection against Covid-19. With more than 40 million people having already received at least one dose, we are making fantastic progress. I would encourage everyone who is able to and hasn’t yet had their first dose to book an appointment to get the vaccine.
Getting to this stage so quickly is a testament to the fantastic work of everyone involved in our world-leading vaccination programme and I would like to personally thank the fantastic volunteers and NHS staff right across our community in Hitchin, Harpenden and the villages who have helped to make this happen.
