Residents in Cockernhoe, Mangrove Green, Wandon End and Tea Green have made me aware of their concerns with the North Hertfordshire Local Plan, and in particular with the 2,100 house development known as East of Luton which is included to meet NHDC's "duty to co-operate" with Luton Borough. This week the Secretary of State outlined plans to end the duty to co-operate and so I have now written to him to ask him to set out how North Herts Council should proceed when considering the East of Luton development.
