We all know how important in-person banking services are for residents and businesses in rural communities like ours. The Government is due to bring its Financial Markets and Services Bill to the House in this Parliament and I will be closely scrutinising the action taken in this Bill to protect access to cash and in-person banking services. This week I asked the Chancellor to set out what steps he plans to take in this Bill to support our rural communities.
