This week I was very pleased to learn of the launch of the UK Young Academy. This will bring together early-career researchers, innovators, clinicians, professionals, academics and entrepreneurs to tap into their collective potential and expertise to tackle important issues in society. Their multi-disciplinary approach will encourage direct collaboration between our brightest young researchers and professionals across a broad spectrum of business, academic and development activities, whilst also having a great impact in future policy and national strategy.
