Tackling the cost of living is one of the major challenges facing us this Winter. This week nearly 18,000 pensioners in Hitchin & Harpenden started to receive their £300 cost of living payment through the annual Winter Fuel Allowance. This vital support will take some of the pressure off of local pensioners and I will be working hard to ensure that everyone in our area is able to access the support they need.
