Local Plans are a hugely important opportunity for local communities to take charge of their future growth and deliver new services and infrastructure, alongside new housing. After repeated delays and broken promises, I was disappointed to learn that the Lib Dems have delayed their timetable for the Local Plan yet again, with the target date for adoption moved from December 2025 to March 2026. I’ll keep pushing them to protect our local greenbelt.
