Raising constituent concerns about animal welfare with the Secretary of State

This week I was contacted by a number of constituents with concerns about the welfare of farm animals. The Government is committed to maintaining world-leading standards for animal welfare - including in farming - and I have made sure that the Secretary of State is aware of these local concerns.
