It is vitally important that we ensure that people have warm, high-quality homes with good energy efficiency. This week I have written to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities to ask him what steps the Department will be taking to ensure that newly built homes have the highest possible levels of energy efficiency.
