Farming is a vital employer in Hitchin, Harpenden and the villages. That’s why the support the Government has announced this week will be so important for our communities. I discuss that further in this week’s blog.
Your views help to shape my work. That’s why this week I’ve spent lots of time out meeting local residents - on their doorsteps, at my pub surgery in Whitwell, and listening to their concerns over future development proposals in Lower Stondon.
On Monday I was in the House of Commons to answer an Urgent Question from the Shadow Chancellor on the UK economy. And I’ve been meeting with personal finance innovators to talk about support we can offer young people with their money.
