Dear Constituent,
We’ve been working hard to secure the investment our communities need. That’s why this week I am delighted that we have seen new investment confirmed to roll-out more electric vehicle chargepoints and to improve our local pools and leisure centres.
But we know there is a lot more to do - particularly for our rural communities. That’s why this week I’ve spent time looking at local business support with a business in Wandon End, discussing rural broadband with CityFibre and meeting Parish Councils in Wymondley and Lilley to hear about local concerns.
This week I was also in Berlin to promote the UK’s financial services industry - a key local employer - and I hosted firms from the UK’s world-leading fintech sector in Downing Street.
In addition, this week I convened a meeting between MPs and the banks to discuss access to banking - as we marked good progress with the industry committing to identifying 225 new banking hubs.

Yours,
Bim
