Dear Constituent,
It is an enormous privilege to be able to represent our communities in Westminster. And as a Treasury Minister, I get the honour of representing our country’s interests right across the world.
That’s why I was in Washington this week, discussing the UK’s world-leading financial services sector - a key local employer here in our constituency - and promoting our interests with one of our major allies.
Closer to home, it is always a great honour to meet the fantastic, accomplished people who make our community what it is. This week I was able to present local artist Sarah Graham with an award from the Prime Minister for her work raising money for the Samaritans. And I joined teenage star footballer Annabelle in Harpenden to congratulate her on her call up to an England Schools team.
Read on to find out about everything I’ve been up to this week.
Yours,
Bim
