Dear Constituent,
I know how difficult congestion is in Hitchin at the moment. And there are real concerns about the impact development at Highover Farm could have. I’m clear that if Councillors want to press ahead with this development, we must secure real improvements to Hitchin’s infrastructure to tackle congestion - and I’ve been engaging with the developer on this.
You also continue to tell me about your concerns over Luton Airport. This month I will be meeting with the Transport Minister to discuss the impact of current airport operations on our communities - and I want to hear your experiences ahead of that meeting.
I say it a lot, but your views really do shape the work I do to improve things in our communities. That’s why I was delighted to have so many people from our local team join me on the doorsteps this week to hear about your local priorities.
Read the newsletter in full to find out about all this and more from this week!
Yours,
Bim
