Tackling the cost of energy and achieving net zero both require us to work to bring new renewable energy online. As a member of the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Select Committee and Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Renewable and Sustainable Energy, I have been working closely on this and I recently met with senior National Grid officials to discuss some work I have been doing in Westminster specifically on accelerating the deployment of wind energy.
