Critical mineral supply chain security will be vital for the UK's long term ability to achieve net zero and build clean, homegrown energy supplies. As Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Renewable and Sustainable Energy and a member of the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Select Committee, this has been an area of focus for me. This week I met with the Critical Minerals Association to discuss the supply of critical minerals further.
