Research from the Campaign for the Protection of Rural England (CPRE) shows that we can unlock more than 1,800 homes for local people by re-generating brownfield sites in Council areas covering Hitchin & Harpenden. Having written to Council leaders asking them to work with me to deliver on this potential, this week I met with senior figures at the CPRE to hear more about their findings and how we can protect our local greenbelt.
