It was an honour speaking in a debate at the historic St. Bartholomew the Great church in the City with Aaron Bastani, Michael Gove, Giles Fraser, Eddie Dempsey and Alan Smith. The debate was chaired by the Rt. Revd Dame Sarah Mullally, Bishop of London. The proposition for debate was “This House believes that the love of money is the root of the nation’s evils”. Michael Gove, myself, and Alan Smith were against the motion and won! Great fun and thoughtful discussion had by all.
