Today is #GivingTuesday and I would like to shine a spotlight on local charity, Garden House Hospice Care, which provides palliative and end of life care to communities of North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and surrounding towns and villages of Central Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
While demand for their care has increased during the current pandemic, their ability to fundraise has been limited as their events have been cancelled and their shops closed.
The Government has pledged to cover just over half of the money that they need, however they still have a shortfall of £600, 000 and they are urgently appealing for help so they are able to continue with their vital work.
