Discussing the economy, the cost of living and banking services with the Chancellor

I met with the Chancellor of the Exchequer to discuss a number of areas of economic policy. We discussed the economy, how we can help families in Hitchin & Harpenden tackle the cost of living, and ongoing local concerns over access to cash and banking services.

As Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Financial Markets and Services, I will be working closely with the Chancellor on the new Financial Markets and Services Bill announced in the Queen’s Speech to ensure that it adequately delivers protections for access to cash in Hitchin & Harpenden.
