Continuing to push for the extension of the Chilterns AONB across North Hertfordshire

I continue to campaign for the expansion of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty across North Hertfordshire in our constituency. This status would give our area the recognition it deserves of our status as part of the wider Chilterns, enable us to get greater protections for and further enhance our natural environment, and support our local farmers and wider economy. This week I wrote to the Secretary of State to ask for his assessment of the merits of including this part of North Hertfordshire in the AONB.

This week in Westminster…Giving patients choice

Whenever I speak to people in Hitchin, Harpenden, and the villages, the NHS is high on the agenda. People rightly expect that their health service delivers for them, providing patients with the care that they need in a timely fashion.
