Following on from my recent meeting with the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport about a potential bid to host the Ryder Cup in our area, this week I have been continuing discussions with officials as we look at delivering this. Hosting the Ryder Cup locally would be a big boost to our economy and local sport and I am working hard in support of this.
