It was wonderful to be at the King's Speech on Tuesday as the Government set out its agenda for the coming year. Just before the speech it was great to see the Clerk of the Crown in Chancery and the Serjeant at Arms (pictured), whose job involves carrying the House of Commons mace during the Speaker's procession to the House of Lords.
