The Government has been taking a number of actions to tackle backlogs at the DVLA and ensure that the service people expect from them is delivered. I am pleased to hear that the backlog of non-medical cases will be cleared this month. I am clear that more needs to be done to address the backlog in medical cases at the DVLA and I welcome that they are also taking action to clear those. I will be following their progress very closely and continue to support individual constituent cases.
